AIAW.org.uk ("we", “us” or “our”) is the data controller and is committed to protecting your personal data.

We collect your email address (and your name if you choose to provide it) when you submit our Contact Us form, using this information to respond to your enquiries. We use essential cookies on this website to enable core features like page navigation and site performance, collecting your IP address for this purpose. Our lawful bases for processing your data are contract fulfilment and legitimate interests. 

With your permission, we will record you (video, audio and images taken) when you take part in a Q&A panel  discussion. The recording and images may be used for marketing our products and services to a wider audience and general promotional use, and for archival purposes. Our lawful bases for processing that data is consent. 

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or other purposes, nor do we transfer it outside the UK or share it with third parties. We implement technical and organisational measures to secure your data and retain it only as long as necessary, after which we securely delete it.

You have the right to access, correct, erase, transfer, or restrict the processing of your data and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise these rights or for any questions, please contact us as shown below. We aim to respond to all legitimate requests promptly, and certainly within the mandated one month.
