The award-winning 'Ain’t I A Woman?' Initiative returns with 'That Four Letter Word', a production of three short plays exploring love in all its forms.
It debuted on Friday 15 May 2026 at The Aldridge Theatre, Frensham Heights, Farnham, Surrey. It will run again at 7pm on Tuesday 14 to Saturday 18 July 2026, at The Bread & Roses Theatre, 68 Clapham Manor Street, Clapham, London, SW4 6DZ.

change, revealing the difficulty of communicating when words aren’t
enough
Whilst Pivot brings us into the high-stakes world of two women entrepreneurs, as they debate the future of their dating app and the meaning of love, friendship and self-worth.

Landé is an award‑winning theatre director and producer with more than two decades of experience as an actor, director and creative practitioner. Her directing credits include Fix Up, I can’t breathe: Being Black in a Time of Covid, Leave Taking, The Gift, Princess & The Hustler, Rockets and Blue Lights, and Associate Director on The Color Purple.
Her drive to amplify Black women’s voices led to the production Ain’t I A Woman?, which won Best Producer at the Black British Theatre Awards in 2024. That same year, she founded the Ain’t I A Woman? Initiative, a platform championing Black women in the arts. That Four Letter Word is the latest production in this growing body of bold, narrative‑shifting theatre.

She holds a BA in Creative Writing and Drama from the Royal Holloway University and an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (RCSSD). As an actor, she has performed for the likes of Sky Television/EAST, BBC One, BBC Sounds,

She runs 'Acquah & Co', a company championing Black British stories.

Steven is a London-based actor rediscovering the craft that first made him a television star in the early 2000s. Having worked with Channel 5, Channel 4, and the BBC, he later turned his attention to screenwriting, successfully securing an option on one of his films in Los Angeles.

She is particularly drawn to Black and POC-led work, both on stage and on screen, with a strong focus on narratives that explore identity, culture, and lived experience.

Alongside her training in Musical Theatre during her school years, Trisha earned a BA in English Literature with a minor in Creative Writing. Her background in writing continues to shape her creative voice, inspiring her to develop original written work and projects that reflect her perspective and worldview. With a deep appreciation for storytelling in all its forms, Trisha brings both artistry and authenticity to every role and creative endeavour.
As a day job, Trisha works as Management Advisor with Social Housing. When not acting, she looks to further explore other creative outlets such as Writing, Art or Dance. Currently looking to beat her 25 new movie outing record last year to 30 in 2026.
TFLW project will be both her first Assistant Director and Actor role.
